Before you build
The floor is only part of the story.
A shed floor, foundation frame and prepared base serve different purposes.
Floor
The surface inside the shed. Some resin sheds include floor panels; some wood kits sell a floor separately. Product-specific documentation must confirm the exact contents.
Foundation frame
A frame may keep the shed square or support an added floor. It is not necessarily a finished floor or a substitute for a suitable base.
Prepared base
A level, stable surface built to the manufacturer’s requirements. Ground preparation and drainage can affect the structure’s performance.
Gazebo footings and anchors
Gazebos need the specified footing and anchoring arrangement. Wind or snow claims are only meaningful with the conditions in the manufacturer’s documentation. Use qualified advice when planning structural work.
General planning information. Follow the exact model’s manufacturer instructions and obtain local professional advice where needed.
